ProfileLintbells has been making premium quality, natural supplements since 2006. Since then the business has grown to become one of the leading brands in pet supplements, although its office and warehouse remain near Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and a majority of the products Lintbells produce are manufactured in the UK.
ChallengeWhen Brexit came into place back in 2020, it brought with it changes to legislation and regulations for export to Europe which impacted on Lintbells’ supplement packaging. The ingredients labelling on the boxes along with the supplement leaflet inserts needed to be changed, across most of the company’s product range - a project with up to 10,000 boxes needing rework. After finding MCR Services via a Google search, they contacted the team to discuss options.
SolutionThe team at MCR were given around 8000 boxes to rework, which included 6 different product ranges. Cartons were unpacked from pallets, and product boxes in each carton removed. The team were provided with revised text on sticky labels to add to the product boxes, and leaflet inserts added before being heat shrink wrapped individually. Every product was then re-packed into the correct product cartons, palletised and ready for delivery back to Lintbells’ warehouse.
