ProfileGlobal Underground is a music label founded in 1996 in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The name Global Underground refers to a series of electronic music compilation albums which reflect the performances of various DJs in venues around the world.
ChallengeGlobal Underground is an independent record company based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. MCR Services has previously worked on a co-packing project for the music label, and were therefore familiar with the work required. The team were tasked with packing a Collector’s Edition box set for DJ Amelie Lens, containing vinyl, deluxe CD, photography book, posters and postcards. Items had to be packed in a specific order, boxed and placed into branded bags.
SolutionThe team packed 300 Collector’s Edition box sets for Global Underground in the timeframe required. As part of the service MCR Services transported the completed box sets to the music label’s offices in Newcastle city centre.
The team at MCR were fantastic to work with, the packing and care taken on this project was to the highest standard, we would certainly work with them again.
